Mare finds herself working in the Silver Palace, at the centre of
those she hates the most. She quickly discovers that, despite her red blood, she possesses a deadly power of her own. One that threatens to destroy Silver control.

But power is a dangerous game. And in this world divided by blood, who will win?

Gracie’s Review:

I heard about Red Queen back in October 2014, and ever since then I was dying to get my hands on it when it came out. Red Queen was amazing, like that’s not even a good enough word for it. I love Mare, I love how she acts, her characteristics, and everything about her. She’s protective, smart, smart mouth, and bad ass. But like all of us she has her insecurities about herself, how she’s different from everyone else. I personally think that being different is an awesome. I would love to do what Mare does (I’m not going to tell you what it is because like you have to find it on your own, but it’s amazing).

You can tell from the cover that Red Queen was going to be amazing. I mean look at it, a crown upside down and blood dripping off of it. The cover is what originally drew me to the book. I was like this book looks awesome let me see what it’s about. I’m so glad that I did. I love how the way Red Queen starts, and the ending just killed me. Like how could that happen to her? Also the betrayal in this book I never suspected. That’s why I say always go with your instincts, they will never steer you wrong.

If you want an epic book that will rip your heart out and then put it back together and leave you gasping there till the second book comes out, then I highly recommend Red Queen for you!
