Things are about to get Wicked in New Orleans.

Twenty-two year old Ivy Morgan isn’t your average college student. She, and others like her, know humans aren’t the only thing trolling the French Quarter for fun… and for food. Her duty to the Order is her life. After all, four years ago, she lost everything at the hands of the creatures she’d sworn to hunt, tearing her world and her heart apart.

Ren Owens is the last person Ivy expected to enter her rigidly controlled life. He’s six feet and three inches of temptation and swoon-inducing charm. With forest-green eyes and a smile that’s surely left a stream of broken hearts in its wake, he has an uncanny, almost unnatural ability to make her yearn for everything he has to offer. But letting him in is as dangerous as hunting the cold-blooded killers stalking the streets. Losing the boy she loved once before had nearly destroyed her, but the sparking tension that grows between them becomes impossible for Ivy to deny. Deep down, she wants… she needs more than what her duty demands of her, what her past has shaped for her.

But as Ivy grows closer to Ren, she realizes she’s not the only one carrying secrets that could shatter the frail bond between them. There’s something he’s not telling her, and one thing is for certain. She’s no longer sure what is more dangerous to her—the ancient beings threatening to take over the town or the man demanding to lay claim to her heart and her soul.

Gracie’s Review:
I’m not going to lie, I am very very biased with this book. This is because it was written by the amazing Jennifer L. Armentrout. I love all of her books, so when I heard about her new book called Wicked I was like I had to get my hands on it. Wicked did not disappoint me, from the outside to the inside it was amazing. It was better than amazing it was amazingly awesome. It was made from Haven itself.

Wicked takes place in New Orleans, which right away should point out oh shit this is going to be crazy. In every fantasy book that takes place in New Orleans in my opinion is really good. Because New Orleans is such a magical place (so I heard, I’ve sadly never been).

Ivy is a college student by day and a kick-ass fae hunter by night. I have to say as of right now I have never seen the Fae betrayed as Jennifer did. In all books fae are beautiful, strong, and think lowly of humans. Never did I hear a story where they feed off of humans. Also in other fae books there are two types of fae. The ones that are bad but are better than the freaking crazy ones that are just made out of 100% evil. In Wicked all of the fae are just plan evil. Okay now back to what I was saying before (sorry that my I’m all over the place, this book was just so amazing). Ivy, Ivy is just an amazing female charter. She may seem like a little harmless girl but she can and will kick your ass if you make her angry. And she has a temper. Ivy has been though so much all her life. She’s scared to let anyone new in her life. But she meets this drop dead, so hot that hell can’t touch him boy, named no other than Ren.

Now when it comes to male charters Jennifer does not disappoint, like if all the boys she write about were real the world will be such a better place. Ren is the sweet jerk. You know the one that’s you want to stay away from because he can break your heart if he wants to but doesn’t. Yeah that’s Ren. He is protective, smart, strong, and of course bad ass.

The last thing I want to leave you with, because I can just go on and on with how amazing this book is. I just want you guys to find out how amazing this book is by yourself. So back to what I was saying. Wicked is an amazing book that will keep you on your toes. You have the worst book hangover with this book. And note don’t read this book in public, it gets really, really, really steam. I recommend Wicked 110%. If you want a wicked read Wicked is the book for you. See what I did there *winks eye*.
