Top Five Things that I Love About Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout

In honor of Obsidian being free as an eBook from now till November 29th, I want to share five things that I love about Obsidian.

Five Things That I Love About Obsidian

  1. Daemon. Black.
  2. This is a no brainier. Daemon is hot, loving, caring, and just plain awesome. I just love him. *Sigh*

  3. Aliens that light up
  4. I mean that’s cool if I had an alien boyfriend or best friend I would never be afraid of the dark.

  5. Kickass Superpowers
  6. I would love to be an alien if I had the powers that they have. I mean there are many things I can do with those babies.

  7. Katy is a book lover
  8. I found that really relatable, a character that loves books and blogging as much as I do.

  9. Dee
  10. Dee is an amazing best friend. Just as amazing as my best friends. She’s trustworthy and caring.

Like what you hearing so far? Here’s a teaser!

“You’re such an ass. Has…anyone ever told you that?”
He flashed a genuinely amused smile. “Oh, Kitten, every single day of my blessed life.”

Blurb:

Starting over sucks.

When we moved to West Virginia right before my senior year, I’d pretty much resigned myself to thick accents, dodgy internet access, and a whole lot of boring… until I spotted my hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up.

And then he opened his mouth.

Daemon is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. We do not get along. At all. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something… unexpected happens.

The hot alien living next door marks me.

You heard me. Alien. Turns out Daemon and his sister have a galaxy of enemies wanting to steal their abilities, and Daemon’s touch has me lit up like the Vegas Strip. The only way I’m getting out of this alive is by sticking close to Daemon until my alien mojo fades.

If I don’t kill him first, that is.
